Bill and Jane Pitt, Brad’s parents, have held their tongues long enough. They used to keep quiet and sit back while Jolie lambasted their son. Now they’re telling Brad to walk away.

What caused the most recent dispute? Thanksgiving, of course.

Angelina Jolie refused to bring the kids to Brad’s hometown for the holiday, and the move did not set well will Pitt’s mom and dad.

Jolie ended up not even taking the kids to Cambodia, but she skipped the trip to Missouri anyway, despite having promised that the whole family would meet with Pitt’s parents.

“It’s so unfair, and his family was really upset,” said the insider.

The insider thinks that Angelina Jolie used the children as a weapon against Pitt. In any event, his parents now think he should leave her.

Pitt usually hides his true feelings from his parents, but not this time.

“He told his mom, ‘It’s worse than you think,’” he said on a phone conversation with his mother. The insider said Pitt burst into tears when he spoke.

“Jane was pretty shocked that it had gotten so bad,” said another source. “She told him he should leave Angelina.”

Jane is no fan of divorce, but she feels a clean break is the best course of action for the kids.

“It’s going to get worse, not better,” said the insider. “Living like this isn’t good for Brad, Angelina, or the kids.”

Insiders blame Angelina Jolie for the nearly non-stop bickering that goes on between her and Pitt. It’s not only the troubles with Angelina Jolie that is pushing Pitt to move on. His rekindled relationship with Jennifer Aniston also is a factor.

He’s been texting Jen every day for months, despite the fact it angers Jolie to no end.

Pitt told his parents he still has feelings for Aniston. This had to be music to their ears because they have remained close to Jen despite the divorce.

“They think it’s time to stop the charade, end things with Angelina and get back with Jen.”

Despite his hopes, Pitt was not able to see Jennifer Aniston over the Thanksgiving day holiday.

“Jen got a call from Brad asking what was going on,” the insider said. “He hoped he’d be able to sneak out and see her over the holidays and then suddenly her cell phone is off.”

Pitt told Aniston how bad things now where with Jolie.

“Her heart went out to him. They made plans to meet at her house once she’s back.”

It looks like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are almost ready to break permanently.

It should happen any second now.

The latest issue for the couple is Angelina Jolie’s betrayal of Brad Pitt, an act that has been described as potentially the “straw that broke the camel’s back” when it comes to their troubled relationship.

Jolie had promised Pitt that she would put her career in film away, at least until her six kids were older. Now it looks as if she’s going back on that promise, a move that might have devastating consequences.

Jolie has taken the lead role in “The Tourist,” leaving Pitt to fume.

“Angelina has a history of saying one thing and then doing the exact opposite,” an insider told In Touch. “She says she wants to put her family first – but when a good role comes along, she forgets all that.”

The insider said that Pitt had urged Jolie to not take the role, and she eventually promised him she would not. But in the end, Jolie changed her mind and snapped up the part, which became available after Charlize Theron left the movie.

“Brad thinks she’s being selfish,” said the insider.

Another friend said that Jolie decided to take the movie “as a way not to dwell” on her failing relationship with Brad Pitt. In the past Angelina Jolie has found that putting herself into her work is a way to keep her busy and positive.

“Pretending to be someone else for 14 hours a day makes her problems seem less real,” said the friend.

Whether that’s true this time remains to be seen. According to the report, Jolie and Pitt are hitting a low point in their relationship. Initially their plan was to take time off from work and devote that time to each other and their children. Now that that doesn’t appear to be happening, one can only wonder how long these two will stay together.

Angelina Jolie will begin filming “The Tourist” in spring 2010. This is normally time she would spend with her children.

“She’s doing what she always does when she has problems – running away,” the friend said.

The question is, will Brad be there when she gets back?

In the latest issue of In Touch, in a cover story entitled “Brad Says Goodbye,” new details are emerging that Pitt and Jolie are about to be finished forever. Pitt, tired of the endless fighting with Jolie, has finally had enough. He wants to be more like his old friend George Clooney, and put some fun back into his middle aged lifestyle.

Consider the latest eye-witness report about a Brad Pitt sighting.

“Brad looked scruffy, bloated, and unshaven,” said Raquel Espinola, who recently saw Pitt. “He looks as if he’s living out of his suitcase.”

In this case, that might be closer to the truth than anticipated.

According to the report, Pitt has been booted out of the home he once shared with Jolie and their six offspring.

“Angelina dropped a bombshell,” reveals a close associate of the pair. “She threw him out of the house and told him, ‘This time, it’s for good.’

The trouble has been escalating for months now, as any reader of tabloids surely knows. Angie and Brad have fought over issues such as Nanny-Gate and his drinking. The combined weight of the many confrontation has now become too much to bear.

The straw that broke the camel’s back in this case was Brad’s refusal to attend a September 8 trip with Angelina to Ethiopia, where Angie would serve in her capacity as U.S. ambassador while showing 4 year old adopted daughter Zahara her homeland.

“She had wanted Brad to come with her, but he refused,” said the insider.

Angelina and the whole clan had once taken a similar trip with 8 year old adopted son Maddox to his native Cambodia. She hoped the experience with Zahara would be equally rewarding.

“It was a learning experience for the other kids, but when Brad said he wouldn’t come, it meant the other children would have to stay at home – taking six on her own would have been really tough.”

Since Brad bowed out, Angelina realized she couldn’t take all the kids. This infuriated the glamour girl.

“She though he shared her vision of how she wanted to educate her kids.”

Pitt didn’t back down this time, as he has during prior fights with Jolie. He told her that he didn’t want to go and that he thought the trip would be too much for the twins, Knox and Vivienne, who are only 14 months old. His refusal to go sent Jolie into a tizzy.

“She tore into Brad,” said the insider. “She told him to leave.”

Pitt was ready to move out.

“He is sick of the deceit and wants to move,” said a friend of his. “He feels the sooner that he and Angelina officially break up, the better.”

People close to their situation think a break up is the best thing for Jolie and Pitt.

“Both of them are miserable,” said another friend. “Angelina is rail-thin and looks to be starving herself, and Brad is drinking too much.”

For months the two have been putting up a united front for their fans and their children. But they no longer think this can work.

“They now realize they can’t stop being a couple, while still living together,” said the family friend. “It just doesn’t work. There’s too much resentment.”

One thing seems certain to onlookers, Brad Pitt already seems happier.

“He’s desperate to get back to his old life, before Angelina – and make up for lost time.”

I would be interested in hearing your opinions on this. I know some of you hard core Brangeloonies won’t accept the news. I also expect some will complain about how the tabloids always use “unnamed sources” to tell their stories. The reason is obvious, Brad and Angelina are extremely powerful people in the Entertainment business. If people used their own names as sources, they might be blackballed and have their incomes affected. Therefore they remain anonymous.

So before you deny it all, keep an open mind. After all, many times where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

This time the trouble started when Brad Pitt invited Rachel McAdams to stay at his and Jolie’s glamorous chateau in France. According to In Touch, in their story “Brad & Angelina’s Fight Over Another Woman,” things headed downhill swiftly.

“Angelina has been jealous of Rachel ever since she found some photos of her on Brad’s camera, which he had taken at the New York after-party [of The Time Traveler's Wife],” an insider told the tabloid.

The big problem was that Brad didn’t tell Angie that he planned on inviting McAdams before he went and did it. This is no way to keep a smooth relationship going, especially with a woman as feisty as Jolie.

“She went ballistic. She pulled Brad to one side and called him every name under the sun.”

This same type of drama is what has been going on for months now. Brad does something to infuriate Angelina and she responds by turning ugly on him.

Pitt tried to keep Jolie calm by using reason. He had invited Rachel McAdams and her co-star Eric Bana to stay at their home because they were both attending a film festival very close to the house. He said he would be embarrassed to rescind the offer. His logic had no affect on the mother of his children.

“In the end, Brad had to cancel,” the insider said. “He couldn’t trust Angelina not to embarrass him.”

Instead Pitt used the old “food poisoning” ruse to cancel the event. According to the insider, it’s just the latest in an ongoing battle between Pitt and Jolie that has created a toxic environment.

“Brad is completely trying to Angelina – he won’t even eat at the same time she does. He’s mad. No one’s sure how much more of this kind of thing he can take.”

That has been the million dollar question for months when it comes to the Hollywood Power Couple Brangelina.

One of the key themes disturbing Jolie is the idea that Brad will leave her for another woman. Indeed Jolie and Pitt met when he was still married to Jennifer Aniston, so Angelina worries about history repeating itself.

Brad Pitt wants to put some distance between himself and Jolie, and luckily for him his movie career allows him to. He’ll be heading to Spain in September and Israel in October to promote Inglorious Basterds.

“He’s looking forward to just kicking back and getting some peace and not having to see her,” said the insider.

As the old saying goes, maybe absence really will make the hearts grow fonder. Or, this latest separation might prove so fruitful that Pitt and Jolie will decide to make it a permanent thing.

“Brad has been adamant that Angie spend time with family and focus on them with as much passion and energy as she does with all her projects,” a source told OK!

Angelina hasn’t lived up to that hope just yet.

“Right after they got to France, Brad found a box of scripts that Angie had said she wanted to read. She and Brad got into a fight over it. Angie stormed out of the room and went into the bedroom.”

At that point Angelina Jolie really wigged out and demanded that Brad Pitt sleep on the couch! Not exactly the romantic outing he had in mind for his visit to France. The insider relates that the couple has been fighting for quite some time, but now they are letting it all hang out, even arguing in front of their kids. That behavior used to be off limits.

“Angie walked away because she doesn’t want to ever have to worry that her kids might one day wake up saying ‘Mommy and Daddy fight all the time’ like what she saw in her household,” said the friend.

Brad would also like to keep the controversy away from the kids.

“He played video games with the boys all night and made breakfast for the family in the morning, including fresh grapefruit juice for Angie.”

There are other sources of stress in the once ideal relationship. Pitt wishes that Jolie would reconcile with her father, Jon Voight. That is a particularly sore spot with Angie.

“Brad risked alienating Angie by insisting she let go of old resentments and get back on speaking terms with Jon,” said another insider. “It’s not like Brad is proposing that Angie and Jon sweep the past under the rug, but he wants his kids to know their grandfather and bond with him.”

The reconciliation isn’t go to fly for a few reasons. Chiefly, Voight never paid $180,000 in child support payments to Angie’s beloved mother, Marcheline Bertrand. That has rubbed Jolie the wrong way and it seems doubtful that she and her father will be moving past the issue and becoming a close knight family.

“It’s the principle that matters. Her mom’s death has been the single most painful event in Angie’s life. She still struggles to cope with the loss, so anything pertaining to her mom continues to be touchy.”

Pitt, foiled in his efforts to become a peacemaker, has resigned himself to the reality that Jolie and Voight are finished.

But that’s not the only trouble in the relationship between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Pitt, the one-time pothead, has now gone to pot, and is sporting a major league pot-belly. His added girth is not sitting well with Jolie, who prides herself on her waif-like physique.

“Brad has put on at least 10 extra pounds in the past couple months,” said a source. “Angie finds his new belly pretty unattractive. She thinks he’s getting a the tummy of a middle-aged man who doesn’t take care of himself.”

Jolie has tried putting Brad on a diet, with limited results.

“Food has never been a big deal for Angie, so it’s not a sacrifice for her to give up certain foods for healthier fare,” said the source. “But for Brad, it’s hard to switch to eating oatmeal and wheat germ for breakfast, because he’s more of a bacon-and-eggs man.”

Despite the troubles, Pitt seems to be devoted to Jolie and wants to make their non-marriage work.

“Brad knows his relationship with Angie is on the line,” said the source. “He’s going to have to start working out again and eating healthier. And he’s got to stop drinking, which could be causing some of his belly bloat. Brad is determined to get back in shape for Angie. He really hopes that by losing the extra weight and eating more healthy fare, she will fall in love with him all over again.”

Poor fat, drunken Brad Pitt has been reduced to a hapless couch-dwelling figure. One wonders how long he will continue to try and live up to Angie’s expectations.

Reports of a tipsy Brad Pitt are becoming more rampant these days, along with photographic proof of his inebriation. The latest incident is described by In Touch in their article “Why Brad’s Drinking So Much.” Pitt was recently in New York to promote The Time Traveler’s Wife, when onlookers spotted the 46-year old looking “in the sauce.”

“Brad was looking to have some fun and blow off steam,” said one of his pals.

Apparently he did just that.

“He slurred his words and was wobbly,” said a witness of the August 12 incident. “It was obvious he had been drinking.”

Later that same evening Brad was “the life of the party” at Rouge Tomate restaurant in Manhattan.

“It’s very shocking to see an A-lister that drunk.”

Other recent incidents include the Berlin after party for the premiere of Inglorious Basterds in Berlin. He got so drunk that night, he had to be escorted home.

“Brad’s drinking is becoming a worry,” said a close friend. “Everyone is talking about it.”

The friend says Pitt acts differently when he’s around Angelina Jolie and their kids.

“There are two Brads,” the friend said. “There is the Brad who is the responsible father of six kids, and there is the other Brad, who’s a frat boy looking to have some fun.”

Pitt used to be a frat boy at the University of Missouri, so his recent behavior is not completely surprising. According to insiders his frat boy side has been coming out a lot more since Jolie gave birth to twins Vivienne and Knox. Since Brad is focusing so much attention on partying, it seems obvious that he might not be spending as much attention as he used to on Angelina and the kids. One insider thinks the fast growth in the family has put more stress on Brad which has led to him partying more than usual.

“At first he was so excited to become a father – but suddenly they had four. Brad was finding it really tough going, and then Angelina announced she was expecting twins.”

It was not only the stress of kids causing worries for the couple, but there are also a few other fundamental problems that have yet to be ironed out.

“Brad and Angelina are so different,” said the insider. “They fight over everything from current events to something silly, like Brad looking at a waitress the wrong way.”

Brad can unwind from the stress by hitting the bottle. Or even a dozen of them. The insider said Brad often downs 12 beers in a night.

“The drinking is a sign he’s under tremendous stress in his relationship,” said Dr. Judy Kuriansky. “There’s been tension between them, but there’s also a lot of pressure of not wanting to hurt the children. He’s drinking as an escape.”

One thing is certain, heavy drinking won’t help mend his relationship with Jolie. Angelina is known as a “light social drinker” and is more into her family than tying one on.

“The Brad that Angelina fell in love with isn’t the Brad he is now,” said the friend.

If Brad Pitt continues to play the role of the ageing party boy, it seems very likely that Angelia Jolie will have enough of it and dump him. Maybe that’s what Pitt is secretly looking for. If his drinking is a form of escapism, it means he’s not that happy in his domesticated life. It certainly looks like plans to expand the family have been put on hiatus.

For those of us who expect Angie and Brad to implode, the public bouts of drinking would seemingly indicate the end is near.

The speculation about Pitt and Jolie having major relationship problems is not new. In fact, In Touch has been reporting on this very subject since nearly the birth of the couple’s twins, Knox and Vivienne. In their latest cover story, entitled “Angelina Humiliates Brad”, the tabloid takes an in-depth look at Brad and Jolie’s night in front of Hollywood’s glitterati.

The scene is a red carpet setting outside of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on August 10. Jolie accompanies Pitt to his premier, but does all she can to steal the show. Jolie turned on the million dollar smile as soon as she saw the adoring public.

“As soon as Angelina stepped out of their car, she left Brad behind her.” an witness said. “She signed autographs for fans by herself and didn’t seem to care where she was.”

The flamboyant behavior was not lost on her mate, Pitt, who glared at her on several occasions. According to most who witnessed the event, Angelina Jolie totally upstaged Brad Pitt in her little sexy black dress and her outgoing attitude.

“The crowd went wild for Angelina,” said the LA Times. “Brad was hot, too. But you know, Angie just steals the show.”

Brad Pitt has been taking a bit of heat lately because he’s starting to show his age. At 46, being a “boy toy” isn’t as easy as it used to be. He really tried to look his best for this opening night.

“He even went to the dermatologist and dentist this month,” said an insider.

If Brad looked like a million bucks, though, Angelina looked like ten million!

“She had the dress delivered that day and wore the hottest shoes from Christian Dior. She wanted to make sure everyone knew that she was sexy again.”

Further adding to the rift was that Jolie was talking to reporters while Brad looked as if he was waiting for the first opportunity to get away.

“But Brad liiked so mad he kept pulling Angie away from interviews, he seemed annoyed that she talking so much,” said an onlooker.

Jolie was even asked if she and Pitt would be working together in a movie any time soon. She answered a bit tartly, “I would love to but we’ve got a lot of kids to raise.”

Pitt and Jolie didn’t even stick around to watch the movie. They snuck out and jumped into a private car at the first opportunity to get away.

Pitt and Jolie have been making the rounds lately calling each other “soulmates”, but In Touch insists these two are heading to Splitsville faster than a Florida home going into foreclosure during the credit crisis.

According to a friend of Pitt’s, his life has become a domestic nightmare.

“Brad’s life is changing diapers, feeding babies, running errands with the kids and working,” he said. “The passion he once had with Angelina seems to be all gone – it’s been replaced with nearly nonstop bickering.”

Pitt is even questioning the hurry he was in to have so many kids with Jolie in such a short period of time.

“Of course, the wonderful moments with the kids outweigh any bad, but sometimes Brad worries if maybe it was mistake rushing into things the way he did with Angelina,” the friend said. “They were so in love, but he realizes now it was irresponsible having six kids in such a short time.”

In Touch then finishes their feature with an accusation that seems easy to believe. That is Brad Pitt is drinking heavily these days, which is adding considerable stress to his relationship with Jolie and the kids. They cite Pitt’s haggardly and drunken appearance in many photos lately, as well as some choice quotes.

Pitt and Quentin Tarantino, director of Inglorius Basterds have been drinking together.

“We worked hard, but we played hard,” said Tarantino. “So basically at the end of a given week, we would go out and party and cut loose.”

Since the director and lead actor admit to being drunk while making the movie, does that mean the audience is going to need to be drunk to watch this 2 and 1/2 hour clunker?

As usual, it looks like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have gone on the offensive for his latest movie, yet just behind the scenes the tensions are flaring and the bickering is hitting a high-pitch.

It now seems to be only a matter of time until Brangelina goes the way of the dinosaur.

In an article title “Broken Home!” Star makes the claim that Jolie and Pitt are very near the end of their love affair. It’s a claim they’ve made before, and it isn’t all that hard to imagine.

One thing appears certain, Pitt and Jolie are spending an awful amount of time apart. Whether this is all due to professional obligations or is strictly related to their personal lives disintegrating is up to you to decide. Star says that Pitt is drinking and partying and the domestic turmoil is taking a major toil on their kids.

Brad Pitt Gets His Drink On

Brad Pitt traveled to Berlin on July 28 by himself. While there he “partied, drank, and flirted as if he was single”. Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie and the six kids were staying at a hotel room in Los Angeles.

“Brad and Angie had a big fight in New York a couple of months ago while she was filming Salt, and things haven’t been the same since,” an insider told the tabloid. “They are just not communicating, and Brad’s pulling away. That’s new for Angie. She’s usually the one to pull away from men.”

Brad Pitt went to Berlin to promote Inglorious Basterds, but at the last minute decided Angie shouldn’t come.

“Two days before the trip, Brad told her he thought it was best if she didn’t come,” said a source. “They’ve been fighting a lot, but this really ripped her heart out.”

Jolie is not comfortable when Brad goes on these “business trips.”

“Angie hates when he goes away without her,” the source said. “She knows that he likes to drink and party but that he tones it down when she’s there. And she also knows that women throw themselves at Brad, which drives her crazy.”

Brad Pitt claimed that his partying days were over on July 28 in Berlin when he said: “I’m a dad now. My partying ends at 6pm.”

However, events didn’t quite turn out that way.

“Angie lost it because Brad started drinking at a photo call hours before the premiere and kept going until 4am!” said the source. “She tried calling him a few times, and he didn’t pick up — so she kept trying until finally he answered. She was nagging him so much that Brad finally shut his phone off.”

While Brad is out partying in Berlin, Angelina Jolie is hanging out in Los Angeles, spending time with the kids. Their constant separation has people wondering aloud if they can continue as a couple.

“They are taking shifts with the kids, separately, and doing their own things,” a friend said. “When they are together, it often ends in tears and locked doors. How long can they live like that?”
