Michael Jackson – Was He Murdered?

More and more speculation these days rests on whether Michael Jackson was murdered or not.

Certainly many fans of the King of Pop seem convinced he fell victim to a conspiracy. The question centers around the drugs in Michael Jackson’s death and just who put them there.

Despite the obvious, that Michael Jackson is the one responsible for the drugs in his bloodstream, many of his fans hold on to the belief that MJ is the victim of murder.

Sorry folks. Where I come from people who take too many drugs and then die aren’t murder victims. They are irresponsible individuals who have fatally injured themselves due to their own inappropriate actions.

Put the blame for Michael Jackson’s death directly where it belongs: on Michael Jackson.

Did Michael Jackson have some lousy doctors? It sure appears so. The doctors need to be investigated and prosecuted for whatever wrong-doing they did. But in the end, it was still Michael Jackson’s responsibility to take care of his own health. If he hadn’t surrounded himself with sycophants and money grubbers, his life would have ended up very different. But Michael Jackson seemed to always keep people around who agreed with him, whether his decisions were in his best interest or not.

Jackson doctor Conrad Murray is currently at the center of a federal probe that aims to find out which drugs he supplied to Jackson and why.

Warrants say prosecutors will be looking for “records, shipping orders, distribution lists, use records relating to the purchase, transfer ordering, delivery and storage of propofol (Diprivan).”

If it turns out that Dr. Conrad Murray is prosecuted for the murder of Michael Jackson, millions of the pop singer’s fans worldwide will feel vindicated. They would love to be able to blame Murray for the downfall of their beloved star. Too bad these well meaning fans don’t take a more realistic view of the famed Moonwalker.

Certainly Michael Jackson lived an extraordinary life that few other entertainers have dreamed of. He also did a lot of good for many people. But his good deeds don’t excuse his many character flaws completely.

Jackson was 50 years old at the time of his death. He had more experience dealing with people in his length career than most people ever have. Yet he chose to surround himself with people who didn’t have his best interests at heart. His fatal flaw ended up being his willingness to take advice (and drugs) from people who were only interested in his millions.

And in the final analysis, that’s his responsibility. All of us have to do the same. If someone wants to prescribe you with dangerous medication, it is still up to you to decide if the risk is worth it or not.

That’s true whether you’re the King of Pop or the Average Joe down the street.

Was Michael Jackson murdered? Only time can answer that question.

What is your opinion of Michael Jackson’s death?

While I agree that Michael has to take responsibility, you cannot overlook the Dr’s who gave him the “medicine” either.  They are, after all, “Doctors” and not someone on the street corner selling drugs.  People trust Doctors, or at least they use to.

I agree with Erin.  There is equal responsibility for Jackson and Conrad Murray.
Doctors who just care about money are pathetic.

Sorry but youre sooooooooo wrong, IDK who you call many fans but Im a fan in a fan world, inside the fan websites and altough we feel these drs did nothing to help MJ we know he had an addiction from long time ago. You people now say “oh fans dont want to know or accept” well suprise! We have known forever, we listen to his music, we hear what he had to say. Many fans just think his doctors and family could have helped him more. Just as recently you said “oh fans will be surprised to know Michael loved to read” guess what, we have known that for years but you try to cover up you were the ignorant ones. you (the media) are the ones already writing articles describing which charges will be pressed against the doctor. Is that the way you cover up your own poor speculation? blaming the fans

Wow, I can’t believe all of the speculation surrounding MJ’s death. I was a true fan of his and always will be. I do blame the doctors and other so-called professionals that surrounded him, for his demise. I know he was a grown man and capable of making his own decisions, but I still feel that people on the whole, DO trust doctors and believe that they DO have their best interests at heart. I hate that this happened. I think all the while, MJ was crying out for help…no one listened..

Michael was a brilliant and talented person and he will be missed, but don’t you dare blame the fans or HIM for that matter for this horrible tragedy.  Yes he was addicted to drugs but!  he did not think they would kill him – that’s what his doctors were for.  He was a performer and counted on them to use their expertise to make sure he didn’t combine the wrong ones or take the wrong amount.  When you hire a licensed professional their license gives you the right to believe they know what they are doing.  If you hire a mechanic to fix your car and he turns out to be a crackpot and destroys it – HE is responsible, it’s not your fault you picked a person that put himself out there as a professional, that was suppose to know what he was doing – you sue him.  As far as other medications Michael was on, that’s a no brainer — his doctor could have performed a blood test everyday if he needed to.    This is truly negligence on the doctors part.  Michael relied on him to make decisions he himself was not qualified to make.  Put the quack in jail and take away his license, it’s the least he could pay for killing someone who was so loved by the world.   RIP Michael!

I personally don’t think money was the motive.  True there is a lot to be made, but there was more available having him alive and it was continuous.  I am almost wondering if we have a wacko doctor here that wanted the fame of being known as the guy who killed Michael Jackson.  He could have hated him for all the money he had, there are a lot of sick people out there.  You may be right though – time will tell.
