Kate Gosselin And The Crying!
Ok, Kate. We get it. You’re sad that your vision of what life would be like hasn’t worked out as well as you expected. Join the club, sister. You think you’re the first person to have a marriage fail, even when children are involved?
You’re the one who wanted a big family, even when it didn’t look like you and your troll-like husband Jon Gosselin weren’t able to have them. Kate Gosselin and Jon both persevered, and with the help of some modern medical magic ended up with 8 kids. But did that make Jon and Kate happy? No. As evidenced by their long-running reality TV show, the huge family was a means to an end for both Kate and Jon.
Because of their huge family, the Gosselins became modern day freaks who became of interest to millions of people who watched them for the sheer enjoyment of seeing two losers try and cope with a lifestyle they can barely handle.
Most importantly, Kate Gosselin has had plenty of help and plenty of money, which has aided her greatly in raising the kids. Now she and Jon are breaking up for good. Of course dealing with the end of relationships is difficult for anyone, but it’s much harder for Kate because she’s attempting to play out her drama in the national media.
One thing seems likely. Kate Gosselin is losing her appeal now that “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ has ended. Her how long interview with Natalie Morales “Kate: Her Story,” only attracted 3.795 million viewers. This is a far cry from the type of numbers her and Jon were used to pulling.
Could it mean fatigue has set in with the masses? It seems likely. Now that Jon and Kate Gosselin are no longer teamed up to help raise their kids, they have turned into a sideshow act, sniping at each other ceaselessly during tabloid spots and TV interviews.
Not only that, Kate Gosselin can no longer talk about her life without crying. It’s time to dry your eyes, Kate. Your marriage has failed. Jon Gosselin has already moved onto other women and another life. Now the only thing that matters is the children. Kate, you need to dry your eyes and stand up tall for your kid’s sake. What kind of message are they learning by seeing mommy bawling on TV every day?
Right now “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ is dead. Unless Jon Gosselin relents, or the two parties find another way to settle, the show will likely stay off the air. Even if it comes back, it remains to be seen how many viewers will be interested in watching, now that the leads have separated and gone their own ways.
TLC and Kate Gosselin herself seem to be very reluctant to let the end of the show happen. TLC has been doing everything in its power to keep Kate in the news. But this new depressing Kate Gosselin is not something that can entertain any of us for long.
Kate Gosselin is crying crocodile tears at a time in American when a massive recession continues to drag on. She’s living in a $1.1 million home and is getting money from a TV show, all the while she’s complaining about cash and saying how she misses Jon. For millions of her fellow Americans, they should have life so tough!
So that’s it, Kate. The next time I see you on TV, I want a smile. Think about your fancy house, your TV royalties, and uh, yeah, those eight healthy children you have. Then smile.
All I can is “Amen”.
Kate’s good at manipulating. She’s totally calculated. Having those children was a calculation that turned into a manipulation of the TV bosses, and the public. She’s probably wondering what to do with the kids if she can’t use them some more for the all mighty dollar but mostly attention for her. She wants a show of her own is her next calculation. Her manipulation of the public to get that backing and then calculating to go to the TV bosses is step 2. That #1 child is out of control already – poor thing that she is. Joh and Kate: Go away!
I agree that the crying needs to stop. Kate has a great life with no financial worries. Unfortunately as the years of the show have gone on, their morals have gotten lost somewhere and Jon couldn’t even wait until the divorce to start dating. The family does not even go to church anymore. She seems to care more about going to spas, tanning and getting her nails done for the next trip she will take. I think if the national spotlight would just start to ignore the Gosselin parents, maybe they would just go away. Who knows, maybe they would find a way to repair their damaged marriage. Believe it or not, it would be possible for them to get jobs in their fields and still have enough money to raise their children. My father raised 7 children on a teacher’s salary and my mother did not work. We made it. Kate does not need all of the luxuries she has in order to survive. The parents have gotten spoiled and I think they need a reality check and so does TLC!
Who are we (to include the writer of this article) to judge anyone else, really?
Kate is strong, determined, faithful(that we know of),her children will be the same if she has anything to do with it. Because of Kate, the show was successful, money was good and the children have a future, now Jon has stopped all that. I want Jon to get a job and see how he can take care of his family better. He needs to be with Nadia S. they would make a better pair, Ha!
What a crass judgemental individual. I’m guessing the writer of this article is 1 a male and 2 never been through anything of the like of what Kate Gosselin is going through. You may be in for a surprise buddy boy, there may be more of us who can totally relate to Kate, to her perserverance, to her efforts to make the best life possible for her kids, to her attempt to start anew with a changed attitude, to her efforts to handle this situation with class and dignity, and yes, to her tears! Anyone who claims to have had enough of this – should just tune out, not watch, not read, not voice comments or pass judgement – it can be done, I know you can do it, go ahead, just give it a try.
Who is anyone to judge Kate Gosselin? The bitch is on the national media every damn day inviting judgments!

As far as jon and kate, i hated them to begin with and could see right through the facade yet mt GF enjoyed the ad nausem.
