Jennifer Aniston And Gerard Butler Are Quite The Item
One thing you can say about Jennifer Aniston, she’s dated more celebrities than just about anyone alive. She and her latest love, Gerard Butler, are getting much more serious, according to a detailed report in Star. Butler and Aniston started flirting with each other on the set of The Bounty, but now that flirtation has carried over into real life, even after filming has wrapped.
“I’m happy with where I am now,” Jen said recently. “I feel very hopeful.”
Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston were spotted in public at Cliff’s Edge in Silver Lake, California on September 9.
“They came in early and sat in the corner of the patio,” said Pierre Casanova, who manages the restaurant. “Everyone in the restaurant was watching Gerard and Jennifer. The two of them seemed to get along really well together, just like normal people.”
This wasn’t only sighting of the mega-star lovebirds. Two nights later they partied together at Jennfier’s home. The night started with Aniston having dinner with her friends Sheryl Crow and Laura Dern. Gerard Butler, 39, showed up later with two bottles of Krug champagne.
“They had a great time together. She thinks he’s a gentleman and really romantic,” said an insider. “They’re still taking things slow. They don’t want to rush into anything and mess it all up.”
Gerard Butler, who is well known as a skirt-chaser, first met Jennifer Aniston at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival. He spent a bit of time wooing her, but the relationship didn’t get off the ground until Jen was dumped by Bradley Cooper.
“Jen was down in the dumps one day,” a friend explained. “She was in New York, away from all her friends and family, and felt really lonely. Gerard could tell she was hurting, so he came over to her hotel room with a bottle of wine and Chinese takeout. They spent the whole night talking, and it made Jen feel so much better – and a lot closer to Gerard.”
From that day on, Jen started to look at Gerard as more than just a hot hookup.
“She developed real feelings for him. Everyone on set noticed an immediate change — they became more touchy feely.”
Aniston is planning on not working until 2010. That should give her and Butler plenty of time to see if there relationship is meant to be.
“We have to get to know our partner and work through a relationship,” said Jennifer. “It doesn’t just happen by itself. I’m still a romantic….I believe in that.”
Not only that, but maybe, just maybe, she and Butler can one day have a baby together.
“Jen even joked to him that they’d make beautiful babies,” said an insider. “Gerard just laughed but her point was made.”
If things don’t work out to be that serious, then Aniston can just add Butler to the long list of celebrities she’s dated.

This makes me ill. There is a reason she gets dumped repeatedly, and most of it is to get the public to feel sorry for her. She is self-centered, rude, and has a foul-mouth. It’s just too bad that Butler, whom I am a big fan of, would fine that type of person appealing.
How about naming the sources? It’s always an “insider”. Why don’t they make themselves known, so we would know whether or not to believe the stories, since most of it seems like BS anyway.

Gerry Butler is not a well know “skirt chaser”. That rumor was started first by TMZ and picked up by other reporters that don’t do their homework. Mr. Butler is really a nice down to earth guy.
Gerard Butler is a sweet spirited Scotsman who tries to befriend
everyone. He goes all out to make his co-stars like him, THAT
is public knowledge. He is a generous person with his time and his
sympathies.
I don’t know very much about JA but I’m sure that everyone deserves
one true love in their life. If Gerard Butler finds her to be his,
then God bless them both with more joy that anyone has ever known,
and some privacy to enjoy each other’s company.
Mr. Butler had proven to be a man of discriminating taste, when the
right woman comes along, he will know it and shout it from the
rooftops. Until then, I will consider everything a rumor, as it
certainly is. They both deny any close personal relationship other
than deep friendship, so I leave it at that. Mr. Butler has proven
to be a very caring person and capable of very deep friendships with women and men alike. I know I would certainly adore that kind of friendship with a man of his background. I feel sure that
JA is aware of the pricelessness of a solid friendship. If nothing
else comes of their relationship than that she should be more than
happy to have such a friend.
I hope they both find TRUE love and not settle for anything less
than the perfect, lifelong, mate.
The source is totally obvious. It has to be one of Jen’s closest friends, and someone Jen wouldn’t suspect to be spilling her private life.. Totally obvious. It’s probably Courtney Cox Arquette, or one of her other long time friends…
I kind of agree with Teddy, but that is just because of all of the current tabloids talking about their ’secret meetings’, which, for all we know, could be a myth.
The “insider” sources are usually somebody with an axe to grind. They keep quiet so they don’t hurt their relationship with their frenemies!
Gerard Butler is the favorite actor of my sister because he got this macho factor.~;,
