Bill and Jane Pitt, Brad’s parents, have held their tongues long enough. They used to keep quiet and sit back while Jolie lambasted their son. Now they’re telling Brad to walk away.

What caused the most recent dispute? Thanksgiving, of course.

Angelina Jolie refused to bring the kids to Brad’s hometown for the holiday, and the move did not set well will Pitt’s mom and dad.

Jolie ended up not even taking the kids to Cambodia, but she skipped the trip to Missouri anyway, despite having promised that the whole family would meet with Pitt’s parents.

“It’s so unfair, and his family was really upset,” said the insider.

The insider thinks that Angelina Jolie used the children as a weapon against Pitt. In any event, his parents now think he should leave her.

Pitt usually hides his true feelings from his parents, but not this time.

“He told his mom, ‘It’s worse than you think,’” he said on a phone conversation with his mother. The insider said Pitt burst into tears when he spoke.

“Jane was pretty shocked that it had gotten so bad,” said another source. “She told him he should leave Angelina.”

Jane is no fan of divorce, but she feels a clean break is the best course of action for the kids.

“It’s going to get worse, not better,” said the insider. “Living like this isn’t good for Brad, Angelina, or the kids.”

Insiders blame Angelina Jolie for the nearly non-stop bickering that goes on between her and Pitt. It’s not only the troubles with Angelina Jolie that is pushing Pitt to move on. His rekindled relationship with Jennifer Aniston also is a factor.

He’s been texting Jen every day for months, despite the fact it angers Jolie to no end.

Pitt told his parents he still has feelings for Aniston. This had to be music to their ears because they have remained close to Jen despite the divorce.

“They think it’s time to stop the charade, end things with Angelina and get back with Jen.”

Despite his hopes, Pitt was not able to see Jennifer Aniston over the Thanksgiving day holiday.

“Jen got a call from Brad asking what was going on,” the insider said. “He hoped he’d be able to sneak out and see her over the holidays and then suddenly her cell phone is off.”

Pitt told Aniston how bad things now where with Jolie.

“Her heart went out to him. They made plans to meet at her house once she’s back.”

It looks like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are almost ready to break permanently.

It should happen any second now.

You’re the one who wanted a big family, even when it didn’t look like you and your troll-like husband Jon Gosselin weren’t able to have them. Kate Gosselin and Jon both persevered, and with the help of some modern medical magic ended up with 8 kids. But did that make Jon and Kate happy? No. As evidenced by their long-running reality TV show, the huge family was a means to an end for both Kate and Jon.

Because of their huge family, the Gosselins became modern day freaks who became of interest to millions of people who watched them for the sheer enjoyment of seeing two losers try and cope with a lifestyle they can barely handle.

Most importantly, Kate Gosselin has had plenty of help and plenty of money, which has aided her greatly in raising the kids. Now she and Jon are breaking up for good. Of course dealing with the end of relationships is difficult for anyone, but it’s much harder for Kate because she’s attempting to play out her drama in the national media.

One thing seems likely. Kate Gosselin is losing her appeal now that “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ has ended. Her how long interview with Natalie Morales “Kate: Her Story,” only attracted 3.795 million viewers. This is a far cry from the type of numbers her and Jon were used to pulling.

Could it mean fatigue has set in with the masses? It seems likely. Now that Jon and Kate Gosselin are no longer teamed up to help raise their kids, they have turned into a sideshow act, sniping at each other ceaselessly during tabloid spots and TV interviews.

Not only that, Kate Gosselin can no longer talk about her life without crying. It’s time to dry your eyes, Kate. Your marriage has failed. Jon Gosselin has already moved onto other women and another life. Now the only thing that matters is the children. Kate, you need to dry your eyes and stand up tall for your kid’s sake. What kind of message are they learning by seeing mommy bawling on TV every day?

Right now “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ is dead. Unless Jon Gosselin relents, or the two parties find another way to settle, the show will likely stay off the air. Even if it comes back, it remains to be seen how many viewers will be interested in watching, now that the leads have separated and gone their own ways.

TLC and Kate Gosselin herself seem to be very reluctant to let the end of the show happen. TLC has been doing everything in its power to keep Kate in the news. But this new depressing Kate Gosselin is not something that can entertain any of us for long.

Kate Gosselin is crying crocodile tears at a time in American when a massive recession continues to drag on. She’s living in a $1.1 million home and is getting money from a TV show, all the while she’s complaining about cash and saying how she misses Jon. For millions of her fellow Americans, they should have life so tough!

So that’s it, Kate. The next time I see you on TV, I want a smile. Think about your fancy house, your TV royalties, and uh, yeah, those eight healthy children you have. Then smile.

In a recent issue of the venerable Life & Style, the tabloid looks at the issue in a story called “Move Over Rob!”

Robert Pattinson obviously must feel pretty secure in his role as Twilight hero. Based to a large degree upon his charisma, Twilight was a stunning success at the box office, grossing over $400,000,000 worldwide. Pattinson is not the star of New Moon, though. Taylor Lautner takes the helm of the successful franchise playing werewolf Jacob Black.

Of course this new twist of events makes people want to compare the two stars. Rob Pattinson, as usual, appears interested in downplaying any rivalry he might have with the young American Lautner.

“I’m not the lead in the second film, Taylor is,” Robert Pattinson said. “I just have significant moments at the beginning and end. I’m more of a supporting role.”

Not only does Taylor Lautner get most of the on-screem time this go around, he also gets to make time with Kristen Stewart, Robert’s rumored main squeeze in real life.

Don’t expect the low-key Lautner to push the rivalry very hard, either. He’s just happy to get his turn in such a highly anticipated film.

“It’s a team effort, and it’s definitely about the love triangle now,” said Lautner. “Rob’s some pretty good competition.”

The differences between Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson are very striking. Pattinson is seemingly shy, whereas Lautner appears more comfortable talking about himself and meeting the public.

“Taylor’s very cool, calm, and collected,” said co-star Noot Seear. “He’s so handsome.”

No one is questioning Lautner’s dedication to his role in New Moon, which opens November 20. He added 30 pounds of muscle to his 5′10″ frame through working out five to seven days a week.

“Have you seen Taylor lately? In the blink of an eye he went from little boy to leading man,” said co-star Peter Facinelli. “He grew up before my eyes in a matter of months. It’s pretty exciting to see.”

Facinelli isn’t the only one on the set impressed with Lautner.

“He’s worked his butt off to get that physique, and Rob did not,” said Ashley Greene. “Taylor’s body is just incredible.”

The effort from Lautner is already winning him fans among the Twilight faithful. Team Jacob t-shirts are now outselling Team Robert ones.

“I would say it was 10 to 1 in favor of Edward in the beginning, then it went even, and now it’s 10 to 3 for Jacob,” said a spokesman for Kitson in L.A., which sells the shirts. “It’s because girls feel that Rob dating Kristen means they don’t have a chance.”

The switch in sentiments between Pattinson and Lautner hasn’t been lost on Hollywood, a town known for front running.

“Audiences are constantly looking for the next new thing,” said producer Mark Kaplan. “For Rob, that brooding James Dean act goes only so far. Taylor has a better shot because he’s starting out younger. He has more to prove.”

Taylor is philosophical about his success, owing his popularity to the character of Jacob Black.

“I had the impression that the fans would have loved any actor who portrayed Jacob because the character is truly nice,” said Taylor. “I’m simply lucky to be the one who has chosen.”

Okay, Twilight fans. You’re always a talkative bunch. Tell me what you think of this supposed rivalry between Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner? Which actor do you prefer?

Cited as evidence is the wrap party for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” which happened in Vancouver on October 24. The entire cast and crew of the most recent Twilight movie to finish were in great spirits as they enjoyed each other’s company, and a respite from the travails of filming on location. All appeared happy, except one. Robert Pattinson, described as a “brooding Brit,” arrived alone and hurried out of the party after spending a scant 45 minutes with his fellow workers. Sources indicate it’s because Rob Pattinson was nursing a broken heart incurred from his recent dumping by Kristen Stewart.

Insiders are now saying that RPattz wanted too much too soon and Kristen just wasn’t ready to deliver.

“Rob was talking marriage,” a friend of theirs said. “An while at 23 he might be ready to walk down the aisle, 19 year old Kris has a lot more living to do. She told him they need to take a break.”

Kristen hasn’t had any alone time lately, or even a few moments to spend with her family.

“Kristen realized she was giving Rob all her attention to the exclusion of everyone else,” the friend said. “They had been inseparable for weeks.”

Kristen and Robert spent two months of filming Eclipse living almost together in luxurious surroundings. They stayed in three suites that made up the whole 34th floor of the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre.

Being in such close quarters with Pattinson made Stewart crazy.

“She found she was spending all her waking hours with Rob, who didn’t like going out with groups of people,” the friend said. “Rob prefers to go home, listen to music, and order dinner in.”

Another big issue in their relationship is distance. Now that filming has wrapped, he plans on living in London and she’s taking up residence in L.A.

“Kris was adamant about wanting Rob to move to L.A.,” said a source. “All her family and friends are there, as well as the people who handler her career. And she’s anxious to make her new house a home.”

This new plan is not a good fit for Robert Pattinson.

“Rob is not a fan of L.A. He hates driving everywhere – he says the freeway system is confusing – and he also fears the frequent earthquakes in the area.”

For Robert, London is the place to hang his hat.

“He can go about his business in London and no one bothers him,” the source said. “Rob loves going to pubs with childhood friends, who don’t just hang out with him because he’s the hottest actor on the planet.”

The fact that Robert has so many fans was another sticking point in his relationship with Stewart.

“She is very annoyed by women cooing over Rob and is threatened by fans who send him love notes,” said another insider.

Despite all this turmoil, the relationship between Stewart and Pattinson hasn’t had a stake driven into its heart just yet.

“Rob and Kristen would experience terrible withdrawal if they went their separate ways,” the source said.

With New Moon opening on November 20, Rob and Kristen will be spending a lot more time together. Plus they still have to play Bella Swan and Edward Cullen again, so they’ll be re-uniting in Vancouver after.

“Kris still loves Rob, and taking a break doesn’t mean their relationship is over,” her friend said. “She just wants to hit the pause button and see how they fare when they’re apart.”

Robert Pattinson is taking the separation in stride.

“He hopes that if each gives the other some space they can re-unite and pick up exactly where they left off.”

According to a recent article in Star, Kate Gosselin discovered her diary was missing on October 2, just after a visit from Jon Gosselin ended.

“She left the diary on her nightstand by accident and was praying it’d still be there when she got back, but it wasn’t,” an insider said. “The kids told Kate they didn’t steal it, so she thinks Jon might have. She’s flipping out.”

If the diary was taken by Jon, it could prove big trouble for Kate. After all, in it she wrote down details of her life that could be considered damaging in another context. The insider said Kate Gosselin wrote freely about her body image issues, details concerning her sex life, and the fact that she’s often overwhelmed by the large number of children she’s caring for.

“She’s distraught,” said the insider. “Kate knows that if Jon got his hands on that journal, he would sell it so he could make some money and embarrass her at the same time. She hates being in such a vulnerable position.”

The biggest trouble spots for Kate could be the revelations about her sex life. It turns out she’s missing how good Jon Gosselin treated her in the sack.

“Kate admits she misses the good sex that she and Jon used to have back when they got along. They used to really click in bed.”

Not only that, but Kate even misses the little gnome, Jon.

“Kate’s pretty lonely, and she would like someone around again,” said the insider. “She thought she’d spend the rest of her life with him.”

Kate Gosselin could also be concerned that her body issues would be made into a public topic. It turns out she isn’t happy with how she looks.

“She thinks her bottom looks strange and her thighs could be a lot thinner. Kate also wants a breast augmentation to make them bigger.”

Kate is also concerned that revelations about how she feels about her huge family would be received by the public. At times, Kate can barely handle her eight children.

“Kate’s really struggling. There is so much help around all the time because she can’t constantly deal with all the kids’ problems. There are days when she thinks ‘What have I done?’”

Kate Gosselin’s issues aren’t confined to body image or family size, though. She even wrote about how she felt about certain celebrities in her diary. It turns out Kate doesn’t like Joy Behar of “The View.”

“[She] isn’t a big fan of Joy because, unlike the other hosts, she insisted on asking tough questions,” said the insider. “Kate really felt put on the spot when Joy demanded to know why she just didn’t take her kids off TV.”

Now the question is what will Jon Gosselin do if he really does have the diary? That’s a question that could keep Kate up at night wondering.

“If Jon got his hands on the that diary – he has so much to gain and Kate has a lot to lose!”

It looks like just another day in the bitter, after-Divorce life of the Gosselins.

The latest issue for the couple is Angelina Jolie’s betrayal of Brad Pitt, an act that has been described as potentially the “straw that broke the camel’s back” when it comes to their troubled relationship.

Jolie had promised Pitt that she would put her career in film away, at least until her six kids were older. Now it looks as if she’s going back on that promise, a move that might have devastating consequences.

Jolie has taken the lead role in “The Tourist,” leaving Pitt to fume.

“Angelina has a history of saying one thing and then doing the exact opposite,” an insider told In Touch. “She says she wants to put her family first – but when a good role comes along, she forgets all that.”

The insider said that Pitt had urged Jolie to not take the role, and she eventually promised him she would not. But in the end, Jolie changed her mind and snapped up the part, which became available after Charlize Theron left the movie.

“Brad thinks she’s being selfish,” said the insider.

Another friend said that Jolie decided to take the movie “as a way not to dwell” on her failing relationship with Brad Pitt. In the past Angelina Jolie has found that putting herself into her work is a way to keep her busy and positive.

“Pretending to be someone else for 14 hours a day makes her problems seem less real,” said the friend.

Whether that’s true this time remains to be seen. According to the report, Jolie and Pitt are hitting a low point in their relationship. Initially their plan was to take time off from work and devote that time to each other and their children. Now that that doesn’t appear to be happening, one can only wonder how long these two will stay together.

Angelina Jolie will begin filming “The Tourist” in spring 2010. This is normally time she would spend with her children.

“She’s doing what she always does when she has problems – running away,” the friend said.

The question is, will Brad be there when she gets back?

Where once love ruled, now only animosity exists.

Not only do Jon and Kate Gosselin not like each other any more, they’re more than willing to let the world know it.

“Jon wants Kate to lose everything and see her have to rely on him for support,” a friend of Jon’s told the tabloid. Recent action from Kate seems to indicate there’s some validity to this assertion. Kate told the Today show on October 1 that Jon took all but $1,346.00 from a joint check book.

“When you have left your children and their mother unable to pay for the roof over their head, it’s not acceptable,” a visibly upset Kate said. “I have a stack of bills in my purse I can’t put in the mail.”

Jon Gosselin denied Kate’s claim. He fired back with questions of his own concerning the family finances.

“She’s hiding money. We have 11 bank accounts. That was just our joint account,” he told The Insider. “She had a best-selling book (Eight Little Faces) Where’s that million dollars?”

Kate also claimed that she hoarded a bit of cash for the kids because Jon Gosselin was behaving so erratically.

“I was afraid,” she said. “He was literally buying erratic purchases.”

Jon Gosselin has been living a more high-flying life now that he’s moving on from Kate.

“In the last month or two, he bought a Mercedes SUV. He has an apartment in New York City and has blow through so much money taking his friends out,” said his friend.

The friend also said Jon seems a bit clueless about managing finances.

“Paying bills sucks…I don’t even remember spending all this money” said Jon, according to the pal.

Of course the big center of contention right now is the formerly high rated TV show. TLC wanted to dump Jon from “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ and instead focus on Jon. When Jon felt he would be pushed out of the show, he fought back. He had his attorney file a cease and desist letter with TLC to stop filming of “Kate Plus 8.”

“It’s detrimental to my kids,” he told Larry King.

Insiders now claim that Jon is angling for his own show. As far as he’s concerned, viewers are bored with Kate Gosselin and the eight kids and are probably more interested in his sexual antics.

“Jon thinks viewers are getting tired of the kids now that they’ve gotten older,” said the insider. “He was so sure his sexual escapades would be a ratings boost.”

The future of the show is up in the air, but it seems certain the war between Jon and Kate is just getting started.

Thanks to Jon Gosselin, the kids are no longer able to work on the family TV show. According to Kate, that isn’t sitting well with the youngsters.

“They were wailing and sobbing; they are angry,” said Kate on an October 5 episode of Today.

It wasn’t the only mention Kate made of the kids being unhappy. Later that same day she called into “The View” and expressed similar sentiments.

“My kids are upset,” she said, concerning the cancellation of a show sponsored visit to the Statue of Liberty. “They don’t understand why we can’t do that.”

The motives of Jon Gosselin are being called into question. According to him, he doesn’t want the kids being filmed because doesn’t think “it’s healthy for them.”

Why would Jon Gosselin suddenly not want his children involved in the TLC reality show? Kate Gosselin and TLC think it’s because Jon Gosselin was to have a greatly reduced role on a new series entitled “Kate Plus 8.”

“Jon has never expressed an concerns to me about our children being involved in the show,” Kate Gosselin said on October 1. “In fact he was taping on Friday with the kids.”

TLC was more concise in their criticism. They said Jon was acting “erratic” and “clearly oppotrunistic.”

Like all divorces, it looks like the break up between Jon and Kate Gosselin is now in the nasty stages, with allegations over the money coming in at a fast pace. Both Jon and Kate will earn a lot less money than they’ve become accustomed to with the end of “Jon and Kate Plus 8.”

“Ending filming has ended our income and paychecks and our opportunities,” Kate told Today. On that day she told Today that John had also taken $230,000 out of a joint bank account, leaving her unable to pay bills. “I have a stack of bills.” She also mentioned that Jon has been making “erratic purchases and randomly buying things.”

Now the big question becomes what Jon and Kate will do to re-invigorate their fledgling careers. It’s not as if they’re famous for singing and dancing. The two have achieved notoriety for the large size of the multiple-birth family. This isn’t exactly a career skill that translates easily into big money in other venues. One thing hasn’t changed for Jon and Kate Gosselin. They are still making the cover of many national publications.

Kate thinks Jon is going too far in trying to keep his name in print.

“She finds it disgusting that he would go to these lengths just to keep his name in the papers,” a friend of Kate’s told OK!

Of course Kate Gosselin can’t speak about Jon’s bad behavior without calling attention to her own poor acts.

“It’s contradictory to say ‘We have the children’s best interests at heart,’ then speak poorly about each other in the media,” Karen Deerwester, parent educator, told OK! “The children have a record of all this, and when they’re old enough they’re going to see it.”

Another parenting expert, Stacy DeBroff, put it even more frankly.

“They might as well deposit their earnings straight into a therapy trust fund.”

Time will tell just how negative of an effect the divorce and subsequent removal from reality TV will have on the Gosselins.

Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston couldn’t remain together under the harsh glare of the spotlight. Neither could Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson. Need I mention Hulk Hogan and his beloved Linda?

Out of so many reality TV celebrities who pimped out their privacy for cash, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne are one of very few couples who remained married after the show ended.

The Gosselins at first seemed like they would make it. The couple took on the TLC show because the expense of having so many kids was intense. With reality TV show cash coming in, they could pursue their lifestyle and have enough money for the demands of eight children. But somewhere along the way, the fame went to their heads, and despite the high level of entitlement they became accustomed to, the pressure of life in the fishbowl proved more than they could handle.

Now the grand times are behind them, and Kate and Jon Gosselin will soon have to adjust to life without the glare of TV cameras and without the huge paychecks provided by being “trainwreck” entertainment for millions of Americans. They are just two former lovers going through a divorce, and like so many others in the same situation, they are hurling accusations at each other while scrambling to asset their independence.

Jon Gosselin has decided to become a pudgy Lothario. He is routinely wooing women half his age. Kate Gosselin, for her part, seems less than eager to release her tenuous grasp on fame. She was reduced to tears the other day after learning that Jon had drained their joint account of $230,000. That left her with only $1,000, which was not enough to pay her bills. In a sense, being unable to pay the bills for her un-naturally large family was what was fated for her before she began filming “Jon and Kate Plus 8.” Now, just as water seeks its own level, Jon and Kate Gosselin seem to be heading into the gutter from whence they sprang.

Both Jon and Kate are now claiming to speak for their children. Jon says the kids hate being on TV, and he plans on not allowing them to be filmed. Kate says the children love the crew from TLC and love the attention they get as mini-stars. In reality, it’s hard to believe the kids even understand half of what’s going on. To watch them suffer through a televised divorce seems rather cruel.

What’s left for Jon and Kate?

Plenty of time in the tabloids, all the while paying lawyers whatever money they actually earned for the television run. One thing seems certain, they haven’t done that great of a job with their personal finances.

The still owe $720,000 on the mortgage for their $1.1 million home. That’s just for starters.

“I have a stack of bills,” Kate said. “The last thing I wanted was to do this show and end up not being able to pay our bills.”

If true, Kate Gosselin is right back to where she was before filming started. Only now, she’s in even worse shape because she doesn’t have a husband to help.

Jon Gosselin isn’t letting any slight go unanswered. He said that Kate is making up the story about him taking the money.

“I’ve never taken any money out because, over 10 years, Kate handled all the banking,” Jon said. “She’s hiding money.”

One thing we can all bank on. The children in this marriage will definitely be used as ammunition when Jon and Kate go at each other. Jon Gosselin has already attempted to pull the kids from filming, which would destroy TLC’s idea of a “Kate Plus 8.”

TLC announced on October, 1 that filming has been halted. They announced their actions after one of Jon Gosselin’s lawyers told them he would not allow filming of his kids at the home any more.

To an outside observer, it seems as if this is a ploy on behalf of Jon to retain some control over the money coming in from TLC. The letter came in on the same day that TLC had announced they were dumping Jon and going with Kate.

The future of their marriage is clear. The future of any potential televisions projects is now very much in the air. Jon and Kate Gosselin have come full circle to where they were when the whole journed started, only a bit wiser and a bit worse for the wear.

At this point the real question is: does America still care? They seem to be eating up the tabloid accusations, but once that dies down will people still be interested in watching a show involving these two? For Jon and Kate, that’s the multi-million dollar question.

The latest trouble for Lindsay came when she found herself banned from the Charlotte Ronson fashion show in New York City. Of course Lindsay’s relationship with Charlotte’s sister, DJ Samantha Ronson is well known. The family knew just how volatile Lindsay can be, so they made sure to ban her from attending the show, according to In Touch.

“Lindsay has ruined too many family events and we couldn’t let let Charlotte’s night be about Lindsay,” a family friend said. “Sam’s whole family hates her.”

Not only did she not attend the main event, she was also absent from the after-party. Sam Ronson spent the evening chatting with Kirsten Dunst, who is no fan of Lindsay Lohan, either, according to the insider.

These are dark days for Lohan, who once was much more useful to the Ronsons.

“It’s sad that the Ronson used Lindsay when was at the height of her fame and now they talk badly of her,” said a friend of Lohan’s.

Even her friends tend to steer clear of Lindsay these days.

“She was trying to get them to go out, but they were sleeping and didn’t want to go out,” said an insider. “So she flipped out.”

On September 17, Lindsay was said to be involved in a rather public meltdown at the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan. She has denied the allegations. Lohan had allegedly learned the Sam Ronson was at the hotel, and she went looking for her former lady love.

“She arrived in the early morning,” said a witness. “She looked drunk and was covered in bruises.”

She was irate when she couldn’t find Samantha.

“She threw a room service tray at what she thought was Sam’s door,” said the witness. However, it was another guest’s room. This didn’t stop the Mean Girls star for long.

“She was screaming at the guest in the hallway. She that someone had beaten her up.”

The witness claims that police escorted Lohan out of the building.

On September 21, Lohan was said to have thrown a beer at photographers when she showed up at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles.

Now friends worry about her future.

“Poor Lindsay has no one to take care of,” said one former friend.
